Taking Shape

To say that a lot goes into designing a knitwear collection is an understatement. But for us, that’s not the difficult bit. We live and breathe design. We live and breathe wool. We truly enjoy the work!

So what’s the difficult bit? Waiting!

Once a design is ready, we send the specifications to our factory technicians. And after that, a lot of things need to happen before we see the finished product. From yarn and colour testing, to the testing of stitch motifs, to swatch production, to sample garments… after each step, we examine the result, provide feedback, and adjust the specification if necessary. It’s an exciting process, to watch our creations take shape one step at a time. But for us impatient types, the waiting is not easy!

How long does it take from design to production?

‘It takes as long as it takes!’

Ah right. Of course!

Our knitwear collection will be ready in Spring 2025 and we look forward to sharing it with you.
